Plasteel^® Calibration Charts

Plasteel provides two Excel spreadsheets, one English and one Metric, that compute the volume of liquid in a tank given the rod depth measurement. These spreadsheets produce print-ready lookup tables that are specific to your tank's inside length and diameter.

Instructions:

When you open the attached Excel program, click “macros disable”, click “no” for read only box and click “OK” for the Macros security box.

1. Click Set Up Tab at bottom.

2. Click Line 5, enter Nominal Capacity.

3. Click Line 8, enter Inside Length.

4. Click Line 9, enter Inside Diameter.

5. Click Line 13, Actual Capacity cell and actual capacity will appear.

6. Click Charts tab at bottom and the chart will be calculated.

7. Enter Inside Diameter, Inside Length and Capacity for future reference and print chart.
